
HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 42

Recognizing the many contributions of Rosalie Fuscaldo Gaziano as
the West Virginia outstanding Mother of the Year, 2002.
Whereas, Rosalie Fuscaldo Gaziano was high school valedictorian
and Phi Beta Kappa at West Virginia University, she married
Dominick Gaziano and they are the parents of five sons; and
Whereas, She prepared and oversaw a loving home while her
husband continued his education in medical school, finding time to
take her family to England; and
Whereas, Rosalie Fuscaldo Gaziano is the author of two books,
"It's Your Turn Chickadees" and "Seasons and Celebrations"; and
Whereas, Her active involvement in civic and charitable
activities resulted in her creating an all day festival, symphony
Sunday and the patron Dinner Under the Tent; and
Whereas, Rosalie Fuscaldo Gaziano has received many honors and
commendations reflecting her unselfish participation in her civic,
charitable and religious activities from Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral,
the Goodwill Industries, American Red Cross, West Virginia Symphony and others relating to her city, state and nation; therefore, be it
Resolved by the House of Delegates:
That Rosalie Fuscaldo Gaziano be honored as the West Virginia
Mother of the Year for her many outstanding contributions to her
family, her church, her community, the State of West Virginia and
the United States of America; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to Rosalie Fuscaldo Gaziano and the West
Virginia Press Corps.
